Alastair Brown is Chief Technological Officer at BrightHR.
Alastair is responsible for driving forward BrightHR’s expansion plans and the management of the businesses technological needs. Alastair’s career has always been delivery focused and he has extensive experience in transforming businesses through technological and process change. Before joining BrightHR, Alastair worked as a director of delivery for an international hotel bookings site. He also worked as a leader for a global accountancy software business, which supported millions of entrepreneurs across 23 countries.
Stuart Chamberlain is senior employment law specialist and author at Croner-i Limited. He writes on a wide range of employment law topics for Croner-i Human Resources.
His particular expertise in this field of law are TUPE and contracts of employment.
Stuart is an experienced and popular lecturer in both the private and public sector.
Alice is the Development Editor for Croner-i Human Resources Professional.
She is responsible for commissioning and developing employment law and HR content whilst managing contributors and authors.
She joins Croner-i with previous experience working in higher education and the editorial field.
Nicola is the Content Manager for Croner-i Human Resources Professional. Nicola has almost 20 years’ experience in the employment law world, with a particular focus on legal research and policy drafting. She has also been heavily involved in the training and development of HR/employment law professionals. Nicola is also an accredited workplace mediator.
Kate Palmer is Associate Director of Advisory at Peninsula.
She joined in 2009 from another top company where she was Senior HR Manager.
With a specialist background in facilities management in the NHS (public and private sectors), Kate offers a wealth of employment law experience.
She’s an expert negotiator; one notable case was with the NHS’s trade unions over terms and conditions in the Agenda for Change pay system.
Alan Price is Chief Operations Officer of the Peninsula Group. Alan is responsible for the leadership of the Group’s operations strategy, overseeing 100,000 client monthly service interactions and client experience. He also holds a number of non-executive positions across the Group companies, while UK maintaining a Group operational overview and Group HR responsibilities.
Alan is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD with 18 years’ experience in employee relations, a Chartered Manager and Fellow of the CMI, a certified practitioner and Fellow of the AHRI (Australian Human Resources Institute), and a member of the Canadian Human Resource Professional Association. Having demonstrated a significant contribution to business and society, he is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. In 2003, Alan was appointed to her Majesty’s Court and Tribunal Service and was one of the youngest judicial appointments to the Employment Tribunal Service, which he continues to hold.
For the last four years, Alan has been a charity trustee and Non-Executive Director for the global HR professional body, the CIPD, which represents over 140,000 HR professionals worldwide.
Andrew Willis is the senior manager of the Litigation and Employment Department at Croner.
He assumes additional responsibility for managing Croner’s office based telephone HR advisory teams, who specialise in Employment law, HR and Commercial Legal advice for large organisations across the United Kingdom.
Ben McCarthy works as a content writer for Croner-i producing commentary and guidance on employment law and key HR developments. Coming from an extensive legal background, Ben regularly constructs key training materials for clients and advisers, and provides daily contributions to national publications.
